Price increase tracker
See the price changes other companies received
Retailers and sales reps log the price increases, surcharges and freight changes that arrive in their inbox. Once two companies have reported the same notice, other members can see it.
What it is
Price notices arrive as separate emails, one per vendor, and nothing puts them side by side. In the tracker, retailers and sales reps log the facts a notice announced: the brand, the kind of change (a price increase, a surcharge, a freight increase), the percentage, the date it takes effect and the categories it covers.
When a notice shows
A notice shows to other members only when two companies, and two different people, have reported the same thing, or when the brand has posted its own notice. Until then only the company that logged it can see it, marked as waiting for a second report. One company's report never shows on its own.
Give to get
Everyone signed in can see which brands have a reported change, the month it takes effect and how many companies reported it. The percentages open up for companies that have logged a notice of their own in the past year. If you log what you receive, you see what others received.
Competing manufacturers never see each other's notices
A manufacturer or vendor sees only the notices about its own brands, and can flag one that is wrong for FurniHub to review. It never sees what is reported about another maker, and the people who reported are never named to anyone outside their own company.
What we never collect
Only what the notice itself announced. The tracker never asks for your net prices, your costs or your margins, and it has no comments, votes or averages. Each manufacturer sets its own prices independently.
