For interior designers, stagers and commercial specifiers

Source with trade terms and specs, and keep your clients private.

Find the makers and vendors that sell to the trade, check the rules a spec has to meet, and invite bids on a project. A design firm can keep its client's name confidential on a bid. Free for designers.

What you save and follow is visible only to you, and a firm can hide its client's name on a bid.

    What a designer checks

The next market weeks and the rule dates that touch a spec, each from its official source.

    What stays private

Clients trust you with their names and budgets. The defaults keep them with you.

    • What you save, follow and search

Your studio is yours: the companies you save and the watchlist you keep.

      Only you
    • Your client's name on a project bid

A design firm can show Confidential client. The firm stays named and verified, and only its own people see the name.

      Your choice
    • The documents in your trade application

You attach them per application. A maker opens only the ones attached to its own.

    • Your name and budget on a quote request

    What you can do today

The open tools need no account. A free account adds your studio, your applications and your bids.

    1. Find makers and vendors that sell to the trade

Search the directory by type, state and category, compare vendors in the guide, and save the companies you source from.

    2. Apply for trade accounts once

Keep one verified packet and send it to every maker or vendor that accepts applications. Documents are shared per application and never stored as numbers, so a vendor sees only what you attached for it.

    3. Check the rule before you specify

Flammability, formaldehyde, PFAS, Prop 65 and packaging fees, each in plain words with its official source and the dates that matter.

    4. Invite bids on a project and compare the answers

Post a project bid from a design firm page with quantity lines and requirement chips that map to published standards. Bidders never see each other, and no money moves through FurniHub.

    5. Plan market week

Dates for High Point, Las Vegas and the other markets with a calendar file for each, and the events FurniHub editors have approved.
